The era of post logic

It is an interesting and actually predictable development of the post truth: once all the value of truth and factual data has been eliminated, it is becoming normal and accepted to expose patently contradictory, groundless, illogical arguments, and it is becoming useless to oppose these arguments with the logical reasons that in other times they would have "dismantled" and canceled. Theses and opinions are no longer just detaching from the reality of the facts, but from the same logic and plausibility. If in recent years it seemed to us that by now it could be said "it is raining outside" even if there was the sun, with contempt for visible reality, now the impression is that we can also say "it is raining outside, I go out with a carrot so not I bathe ".
Matteo Salvini is the most visible champion of this Orwellian "double think", but above all because it occupies the scene a lot: in reality it is a dialectical tactic that is very widespread, since he stopped being a loser (or since someone told you “but what are you saying? how does a carrot cover you from the rain? "and then you let it go, embarrassed, and folded over the umbrella, among the raspberries of those present). Salvini who repeats the torment of the "attached to the armchair" while he struggles in every way to reconstruct situations that preserve him minister, or bring him back to us; Salvini who adopts the slogan "never with PD" without that hypothesis ever appearing, and without anyone being able to say what it means; Salvini who shouts at the betrayal of the voters and at the mess for the PD / M5S alliance, after a year of alliance Lega / M5S; Salvini who says "we don't insult anyone" seriously; Salvini who is denied on Savoini in Russia, and yet continues to repeat implausible versions; Salvini, which orders the League's mayors to disobey civil unions, then threatens progressive mayors with criminal and personal consequences if they disobey the security decree and then suggests the League's mayors disobey the migrants' dislocation; Salvini who says "To those who involve children in the political controversy I have nothing to say", and then shows up on the stage of Pontida exhibiting a child for political controversy; etc.
I am not talking - there is a difference - of simple falsifications of facts: I am talking about rhetoric, propaganda, thesis, which do not stand up and would collapse at the objection of a child, but which today become indifferent to any more obvious objection instead (I quote only en passant Bibbiano: become a winning and popular accusation against a party without any sustainable reason; only for an accusation of abuse of office - maybe even founded, let alone, we will see - against an administrator of a small town, or that one that in one year it happens to a thousand administrators of many parties in a thousand municipalities).
And I'm not even talking about inconsistency, something old and always present in politics: the deputies of the Democratic Party who said "never with the M5S" if you remind them today are embarrassed, claim reasons, say the League had to be stopped, things changed, they realize they are in a corner and struggle, in difficulty. Logic cares, yet. When they learn the Salvini approach, they will completely ignore the disputes and they will go straight by declaring "we are proud of the alliance with the M5S, a party of competent for the good of the country" and will reply "Salvini wants only to limon with the clerks of the ministry: enough necking! enough with the gay Northern League lobby! ”.
All this seems to me a new thing, to which many of us naive and still slaves of a rational idea of the debate continue to react candidly with sensible, well-founded objections, daughters of reality and logic. When meanwhile the real and the logic no longer have any value: of the scientific method we had already demolished the data collection part (we see three people and we count eight of them), now we are also demolishing the construction of the consequent thesis (we have eight people - or three - and we propose a football match to eleven).
And do not stop at Salvini: he is the one who has the biggest stage to propose this waterproof communication as a model for every demolition: many are taking over the model - he himself will have learned it from Trump and Bannon - until the last of the troublemakers passing on Facebook. As with the post truth - which not only means that lies are said, but that truth no longer has a greater value than lies -, post logic is not just deception, but the loss of value of logic and reasons, which they become useless to deny the deception. One of the followers of logical posts has come to realize what was once a known joke to make fun of the blind faith of PCI militants in the party's instructions.
