The oldest European city“”, with eight thousand years of history, coeval of Troy, Mycenae and the cities of the island of Crete. Center of the ancient Thrace founded by the Thracian Thracian king and for this reason in the 12th century B.C. called Eumolpia. In short, a surprise. A city that has been throughout its history an example of mixing of various ethnic groups– Turks, Greeks, Iranians, Armenians, Caucasians, Mongols, Siberians – become then“Bulgarians”; (from “bulgha”, temines of Turkish origin meaning to mix)...
